The last couple nights of Bluesfest have been a little cheesy, but tonight takes the cake, or rather is the Cake. mmm Cake.
Not a lot of hidden treats though, unless you are into nice indie acts with obscure instruments, multiple singers and lots of clapping. If so I would advise you to go see Library Voices at 8:00pm.
But that of course would mean that you wouldn't get to go to Cake (and see them too!) Now Cake is by no means an act that needs more hype than they already have, but in the spirit of Bluesfest acts past, I would like to remind people who the real show stoppers will be: The Kicks.
Who knows, if the weather does what it says it may do, we may actually get to witness a Cake outside in the rain, unless you think that you can't take it, cause it took so long for them to make it, and we may not get to see this band play again, OHHH NO!
