ECT Day 10: A Rude Awakening

We were woken up Day 10 by a guy in a a uniform expecting us to be up and ready to go. His requests confused us, and we blankly stared back at him until he realized he had the wrong room. He saluted us, and then marched away.

It was around this time that we thought we should leave the police training grounds we were staying at. We went and got a trucker breakfast, and then decided to start our long day of driving. The drive back wasn’t to special, as we had already driven the same way coming into Nova Scotia; although, the bridge back from PEI, and seeing the hilly terrain from the opposite angle was very visually pleasing.

The long drive also gave us a chance to rock out to all the band CDs that we had brought with us on the road. We sang along until our throats got sore. Speechless and tired, we decided to find a place to rest for the night, before our long drive to Montreal.
